‘Going Dark’ at El Bosque City Hall with GHI

El Bosque City Hall in El Bosque, Chile was once an orphanage managed by Catholic Priests who kept the “misbehaved” children in cages. NOT a good place to be an orphan in Chile back in the day. It is now a city hall who’s rooms are haunted with the sounds of children’s voices and full body apparitions. Carlos Contrenas, a local historian, called the GHI team for answers .

They heard shuffling and creepy voices surfaced on the EMF reader. Paul Bradford, a techie borrowed from another GH team brought along some new devices (I wish they would stop changing investigators) felt a hand brush his head while in the torture basement. Dustin and Barry took a turn down there and also felt creeped out.

During the reveal, Robb Demarest and Dustin “Dude” Pari told Carlos about personal experiences of doors closing, the head touch, a chair squeak, and words spoken; “We’re here!” and the answer “Hell” to the question “Is there more waiting for us?”

The team pronounced the city hall haunted. Fake or not, this show is entertaining and creepy … and bring back Ashley Godwin. I can identify with her newbie “OMG get me outa here” take on the investigations.

Ghost Hunters International in Scary Russian Prison

karosta prison

Karosta Prison, Latvia

The GHI team explored the inner sanctum of a brutal prison in Russia which was opened from the early 1900’s - 1990’s. It’s the only prison in Europe open to tourists. No prisoner ever escaped and a soldier could have been placed there if the commanding officer didn’t like your face or had dirty boots.

Investigators Robb Demerest and Angela Alderman got a first hand look at a dark figure in the library but did not catch it on tape.

Dustin “Dude” Pari and Barry Fitzgerald heard humming and shuffling in a hallway and then heard a woman speaking, which was eerie. Creaking cell doors could also be heard and Dustin felt his pant leg being pulled. It was a big night for the team.

Ghost Hunters International in Gay Paree

ghost hunters international

Ghost Hunters International discovered some haunted happenings in the City of Lights. Team members Robb Demerest, Dustin Pari, Brandon Green, Jo Chin, newly engaged Angela Alderman, and Barry Fitzgerald got a chance to visit the underworld of Paris and found nothing paranormal. They did hear sounds from manhole covers that could have been mistaken for scary voices but the tunnels made them sound like they could be from anywhere.

A Chateau in Bordeaux, France was another matter entirely. The group actually spent the entire night in the beautiful and eerie house and found visual evidence of a white mist in one of the investigators bedrooms, someone saying get out, and calling out a name; Pierre. Their equipment also malfunctioned a few times also. This one is worth watching but unfortunately the Paris tunnels were a dud.

The season finale will be on Wednesday on the SciFi Channel at 9/8.

Ghost Hunters International in the Philippines

Ghost Hunters International in the Philippines

This week, Ghost Hunters International was in the Philippines at an abandoned hospital used during the Vietnam War. The investigators had many ‘personal experiences’ like seeing a white figure, two faces, and a white light which made for some pretty scary moments. One man even had his ear touched by something. doodoodoodoo Too bad none of them were captured on video.

The scary part for us, the viewer, was the audio. The sound of screaming, the word HELP was heard, and a voice said, “I’ll take it,” when shown a cigarette. Even if this is staged, the investigators appear sincerely scared filmed in the dark in some nightmarish settings and I love to watch this show.
