According to Daisy’s myspace page she has been focused and is penning an autobiography, Star Dust. And by the looks of it, it will be a revealing book filled with angst. It might possibly make the reader understand why she is the way she is…

But of course many of us have had crappy childhoods but don’t grow up with a hot mess of a body riddled with tattoos and our own reality dating show. Some of us actually grow up to live relatively normal lives with nary one tattoo or body piercing. The following is an excerpt from her official blog:

“All my life, Iv just gotten along better with boys, mainly because they never accuse me of being a whore, they never back stab me… and you can tell them what to do… and most times.. they do it! It all started with my mother. She was a crazy bitch, slutty whore? Probably in her day.. but mainly just a crazy psycho bitch. I didn’t always feel this way about my mom though. Like say when I was about four, and we would go to the park, and do what ever it is little girls do when they are four at the park with their moms. But everything after that…. crazy bitch!”

Now that’s quite a statement! Ya think it’s time you stop canceling your psychiatrist appointments?

Would I want my daughter to emulate her? NO but Daisy is a lovable mess of a young woman and despite some of her poor choices in life is filled with a sort of Marilyn Monroe charm and vulnerability…and someone I will follow in the news for some time. 

Time flies when your watching the drama on Daisy of Love. Men applying guy-liner and floofing their mohawks endlessly, drinking booze until it spills out of their ears, fist fights, homoerotic scenes with men hugging/wrestling - they even showed us how NOT to chase a skunk out of your house. Wow! I learned so much from watching this season of Daisy of Love and to see it all in one clip show was almost too much to watch.

Daisy de la Hoya has to choose between three men on the finale next week and I really don’t know who she will choose. With her track record with men, it looks like she will pick (homeless/sex addict/hot mess) London. 12 Pack could give her a good ride but sounds too nice for her and Flex isn’t kooky or rock and roll enough for her either. Host and Daisy Mentor, Riki Rachtman, could only stand by and shake his head in disbelief as she made her choices through the course of the show. Let’s hope she listens to him before she makes her final choice. Good luck with that, Riki.

On this week’s episode of Daisy of Love, Daisy had so much help in choosing her final two I believe at one point her head started to smoke from all that thinking. Poor Daisy. I mean, if you can’t listen to your personal tarot card reader, than who can you listen to? Host Ricki Rachtman? All the ex-girlfriends? Her own conscience? Wow! That’s a lot of people to listen to in one episode.

The final four are Sinister (kinda creepy), Flex (he of the man-liner), 12 Pack Dave (my fave), and Sex Addict London. Daisy surprised them with a trip down mammory, uh…I mean, memory lane and this gave Daisy a chance to get an up close and personal take on the guy’s past love lives. London’s friend aka throw him under the bus friend told Daisy he had to be with a woman all the time and was a sex addict. Dave’s ex gave a glowing/boring report that he was a swell guy.

Sinister, apparently, accidentally kinda sort’a hit his ex on the face when he was drunk and Flex’s ex looked like she still liked him - a lot.

Who will Daisy choose? Flex? Dave? London? We’ll only find out on July 26.  Now if you don’t mind, I think I’m gonna have me a shot of tabasco.

Flipper and his Little Friend

Daisy found out just how ‘flipped out’ Flipper was on Daisy of Love this week. Yikes, could anyone get any weirder than him?

The scene started as a normal one for most reality shows, odd cast member walks in on the rest of the cast and a hush falls over the room. Duh, they were talking about you and your lame rap. Talked about cast member realizes this with the few remaining brain cells left in his brain and gets upset. Okay until this point. We’ve all seen this before but what followed was new to me.

Flipper, the talked about cast member, literally flips out and zeroed in on Cable Guy AKA ‘nice guy who wouldn’t hurt a fly’ and proceeded to egg him on. Cable Guy is aware of the “No fighting or you get thrown off the show” rule and backs off.

This flipped Flipper out even more and he grabs a bottle (not a stage bottle, I assume) and crashes it over his own forehead. Guess what? He started to bleed.

After cleaning himself up, he actually went to Daisy and said he wanted to leave (probably one of the remaining brain cells told him about the no fighting rule). Daisy got confused and agreed that he should leave, which released the last bit of insanity left in Flipper and he flipped her off (lots of flipping going on) and left in a huff.

Daisy de la Hoya felt the love three times over when she met the Swedish Triplets on the premiere of Daisy of Love . Host Riki Rachtman nicknamed them 84,85, and 86 as a tribute to their retro 80’s hairstyles and garb. She told them to leave when she learned from them they are a package deal and if you like just one of them chances are you will like the other two because they are the same type of guy. They also admitted to Riki they were there to party and eat the food. Ah, refreshingly honest albeit kinda weird for a reality dating show. 

“Torch” the Inaudible Canadian direct from Seaworld was eliminated by Daisy mainly because she couldn’t understand a word he said. Weirder still was he thought he had a chance with her. Go figure.

Tristan “Dropout” was the 5th one to be eliminated. I guess Daisy didn’t like his awkward dance moves. 

Heavy drinkers London and Weasel better watch out or they will be the next ones to go. Fox already has it in the box with Daisy because they made out. Next week she will make them compete in a traditional talent show.

Daisy and her merry bunch of misfits including famed reality star 12 Pack (pictured above) will entertain us for sure and maybe even find love or at least lust along the way. Perchance a daisy chain?

Daisy De La Hoya (and yes, she is the niece of boxer Oscar De La Hoya) from, Rock of Love with Bret Michaels, has her own show. Yes folks, one of Bret Michaels rejects will entertain you in her own quest for love. Daisy with her bee stung lips has a fresh crop of 20 men from which to choose (even a set of Swedish triplets). These men will try to woo her with their physique, dating skills, and rock and roll lifestyle.

Host/career rocker Riki Rachtman will help assist Daisy on the show. He can also be seen hosting the wild reunion show for this seasons VH1’s Rock of Love Bus with Bret Michael. Let’s hope he brings plenty of disinfectant.

Daisy of Love will premiere on VH1, Sunday April 26 at 9/8c.
