A spin-off of Ghost Hunters has been announced called Ghost Hunters: College Edition. This show will feature a group of college students who will be led by experienced investigators and will hunt for paranormal activity all around the world. It is not known whether any current TAPS members from Ghost Hunters will appear on the new show.

The Ghost Hunters‘ first spin-off was Ghost Hunters International. This show investigates European locations. The original GH has been running for 5 seasons and is now one of the highest ranking series on the Sci-Fi channel. Even if you don’t believe in ghosts it’s pretty entertaining just don’t watch it alone late at night.

45 year old Bret Michael is on the road again and this time with 20 single women all vying for his attention and some rock star lovin’. According to an interview on E! News, Bret says I’m “holding myself for the right one,” because apparently the last two women he chose were the wrong ones. Could it be because they were all way too young or on the show to further their own careers or even because he wants the money each show makes him? Naaah…

According to the press release for the show, “Bret released his highly anticipated full length solo album Rock My World on JUNE 3, 2008 from VH1 Classic Records which debuted at # 39 on the Billboard charts.”

The Rock of Love Bus will premiere on VH1 on January 4.

There will be a couple of firsts on ABC’s The Bachelor. Jason Mesnick will be the first single dad and there will be 4 single mom’s in his herd of single women. There will also be the first Toe Implant Specialist and the first Brazilian temptress, according to E! News.

There will also be a new way for a woman to be eliminated – via a vote from the bachelorette’s themselves. Now that’s a new twist! Watch out all you beautiful or sexy bachelorette’s because the nails will be coming out for sure.

Watch for the 2 hour premiere of The Bachelor on Monday, January 5 on ABC at 8/7.

It doesn’t look like Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew worked for Chyna (Former WWF Wrestler Joan Marie Laurer) because after celebrating way too much for her birthday last Saturday, she landed in a Burbank hospital.  According to TMZ, she was inebriated at the time of her admittance and couldn’t be evaluated until later. When they spoke to Joan in the hospital she said, “All I really want right now is a hamburger and fries right now.” …and how about a call to Dr. Drew also?

Chyna was one on the first season of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew and had a hard time admitting she was an addict. Maybe this recent stay in the hospital will help.

…and lying on Love’s Christmas Eve Myspace page. Courtney accused Kim’s brother Rob Kardashian Jr. of punching her employee and calling him a bad word. It’s a blog war. “A lot of what she wrote doesn’t even make much sense and doesn’t follow a clear train of thought,” Kardashian wrote. “At one point she says Brody was there too and that someone yelled discriminatory expletives against gay people, but I honestly can’t figure out who she is accusing because her writing is so bad.” You tell her Kim.

Courtney has since cleared Rob Kardashian Jr. of any wrongdoing and added that he was friendly to her employee; sounds like she needs to get her facts straight.

The next Survivor will take place in Tocantins, a state located in central Brazil. There are abundant rivers and an equatorial climate. That means hot weather and more bikinis (for the guy fans). This is the 18^th edition of Survivor and is considered one of the most rugged locations yet. Expect high temperatures, torrential downpours, and dangerous wildlife. One crew member has reportedly drowned while working on the set. Alton Desiree did not resurface after instructed to fix something under water. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

CBS Survivor: Tocantins – The Brazilian Highlands will premiere on Thursday, February 12 at 8 pm.

Sources close to the Playboy Mansion told www.eonline.com that the wedding and Hugh Hefner’s walk down the aisle is “…on for June. For now.” Could Kendra’s recent conservative turn have her questioning such a blatant symbol of her past show up on her big day? She has also decided her public nudity will be a thing of the past once she gets married. But that didn’t stop her from one last spread in the upcoming February issue of Playboy. According to the Official Web site of Kendra Wilkinson, all three former girlfriends of Hef will have their own covers in a “three version release”.

NBC Momma’s Boy is going to great lengths get ratings with their choice of Mothers. One in particular, has caught my attention - JoJo’s mom Khalood. First of all, who would call their adult son JoJo and who would call themselves JoJo (at age 21). All I can think of is JoJo the Dog-Faced Boy (P.T. Barnum’s find from Russia is pictured below).

On his Momma’s Boy web site bio, he writes that he’s lived away from home since he was sixteen. I don’t blame him. I think if she were my mother I would have packed my diapers in a suitcase and run away as soon I had learned to walk. I also can’t imagine anyone wanting to be with him already knowing who your Mother-in-law would be.

Sober House, a spin-off of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, will debut on Thursday, January 15 at 10/9 on VH1. The new graduates (Rodney King, Nikki McKibbon, Steven Adler, and Amber Smith) plus Shifty Binzer, Mary Carey, and Andy Dick will join them for this look into an addicts transition from rehab to one step closer to “reality”. Do they have toxic friends or jobs? Can they handle the everyday stress that is life? Sounds like this show will make rehab look like a picnic.

According to the Sober House press release, “Dr. Drew hopes to use his celebrity patients to humanize the process and show viewers that treatment is a viable way to break the cycle of addiction.”
