According to the Celebrity Rehab web site, former model and soft core porn actress, Amber Smith became heavily addicted to prescription drugs and used them through most of her career and hasn’t been clean for over 16 years. She sees the drug addiction as being the cause of her career and life bottoming out. She also claims that she was “willing to do almost anything to buy drugs.”
She’s even overdosed two times. Her father, a former pro football player, was an addict also and died from the disease and her mother hasn’t been much help either because she is also an addict. Despite her good looks (she was named one of the top 50 sexiest women in the world by Maxim Magazine) she has some pretty bad genes, huh?

Also stated on the Celebrity Rehab website, Amber kept to herself and didn’t want it known that she was a drug addict because “”in the 90’s it wasn’t cool to be a drug addicted model”". So does that mean she thinks it’s considered cool now? How sad is that.
